At Capital District LATINOS (CDL), we understand that conducting activities and programs that promote diversity and inclusion is essential to add value to our communities. We believe cultural competency must lie at the center of all programming.

Health & Wellness

We strive to reduce health disparities amongst Latinos and other underserved groups by increasing access to linguistically appropriate health information and promoting access to culturally competent health resources.

Food Pantry

Through our food pantry, we provide culturally appropriate food to the communities we serve while increasing accessibility to healthy nutrition and reducing food insecurity.

Arts & Culture

At CDL, we foster creativity, discovery, and connection through arts events and initiatives that spotlight the rich culture of those we serve, including Latinos and other immigrant groups.

The Connections Project

The Connections Project aims to improve the quality of life of historically underrepresented communities living in the Capital Region, who suffer from higher rates of chronic medical conditions, lower access to healthcare, and who experience living and working conditions that predispose them to negative outcomes. The project aims to create a bridge between stakeholders and individuals to deliver equitable services in areas related to the social determinants of health.
